Palettone Transforms Emmanuel College in Point Cook, Victoria.

September 9th, 2025

At Emmanuel College in Point Cook, the renovation of the Ranson Building, home to the Science and Technology department, was designed to create a modern, inspiring learning environment. Led by Watson Young Architects and captured by IMG.CO, the project reimagined the interior palette to enhance focus, engagement, and functionality for both staff and students.

Polyflor’s Palettone range was chosen as the foundation for the design, combining vibrant colours, durability, and environmental credentials. Its subtle yet versatile texture provided the flexibility to introduce bold, creative flooring layouts tailored to each learning space.

  • Orange Room: Palettone – 8622 Foundation and Palettone – 8620 Harvest Air

  • Blue Room: Palettone – 8649 Sapphire Star and Palettone – 8648 Superior Sky

  • Green Room: Palettone – 8643 Garden Sage and Palettone – 8605 Urban Air

Large curved cut-outs and two-tone colour effects further elevated the aesthetic, adding movement and energy to the classrooms.

Beyond visual appeal, Palettone was selected for its practical benefits, including easy maintenance, resilience in high-traffic labs, and compliance with strict safety standards. The flooring’s versatility even allowed for seamless wall applications in the labs.
