Dental center in Gustavsberg porcelain factory
Gustavsberg Porcelain Factory has a rich history that dates back to the 1820s and is one of Sweden’s oldest industries still operating on the same site. Today, parts of the factory have been given new life through modern operations – one of which is Tandvårdscentrum, a new dental clinic where every detail of the interior design has been carefully thought out.
Polyflor was entrusted with supplying all the floors to the clinic, where function and aesthetics go hand in hand. One example of this is how the blue color of the door frame was test-painted to ensure that it harmonized with the floor.
Visitors are greeted by a warm and welcoming entrance with a waiting room in an abstract wood pattern from the LVT collection Expona Commercial, 4119 Provance Oak Fusion. In the staff areas, a loose-lay LVT floor from Expona Simplay was chosen, which is part of the sustainable concept Re:Use – a floor that can be easily reused or recycled.
In treatment rooms, X-ray and sterile, where high hygiene requirements prevail, homogeneous vinyl flooring from the Pearlazzo collection was installed in a light beige tone with a blue accent color that ties the whole together. For toilets and corridors, the choice fell on a concrete patterned floor from our heterogeneous program – Expona Flow – which combines durability with modern design.
