Across this eleven-storey building lies a unique combination of vibrant dorms, private studio apartments, social spaces, and a spectacular rooftop terrace with panoramic views.
The impressive internal design is the work of Åse Jerrhag, Project Manager & Partner at Hødnebø Prosjekt, Oslo.
Bunks at Rode provided a design brief that was suitably relaxed and free-flowing. As such, Jerrhag and her Design Team created a unique, forward-thinking building interior to meet such needs.
When considering flooring options, it was essential for the specified products to be hard-wearing and easily maintained.
Jerrhag was familiar with Polyflor products and subsequently specified balanced shades from Palettone PUR - alongside a popular Expona Commercial option - to complement the exceptional interior design scheme:
Palettone - Fired Ochre (8642)
Palettone - Sugar Candy (8627)
Palettone - Freshly Ground (8624)
Palettone - Pennyroyal Mint (8652)
Palettone - Regency Room (8629)
Palettone - Garden Sage (8643)
Expona Commercial - Grey Terrazzo (5128)
Lothe & Motzfeldt, based in Drammen, Norway, completed the flooring installation.
The creatively laid flooring is an attractive partner to a charismatic mix of bright pink furniture, abstract wall art, and neon signs, all offset by complementary neutral tones.
Since its launch, Bunks at Rode has greeted visitors from across the globe who have benefitted from its relaxed, social atmosphere.
